At one point, the track breaks apart into three paths, with yellow arrow signs pointing left and right. The only tricky parts of the course show up near the end. This course is pretty straight, though there are a number of chances to show off your powersliding skills. Grab your fastest vehicle and take to the streets of Mountain Parkway. If you keep your rivals on your outside, you can use your speed and momentum to smash them into the outside walls, scoring easy takedowns that don't put you at risk. With your weight, you can toss around opponents like ragdolls in these narrow passages.Īlso focus on getting takedowns when entering sharp corners. There are even more tunnels throughout the course you need to use to your advantage. Start out the race by taking the brief shortcut to the right-you'll make up a couple of seconds in catching up with your prey, as well as build up a bit more speed.Īs the track leads into the first tunnel, take advantage of the trio of vehicles massed together. If you've got weight on your side, you should have no problem taking down the competition. Grab the heaviest car you can find before stepping into this arena. The easiest way to avoid nailing the center divides is to hug either the left or right walls. The DJ announces (if you haven't turned him off yet) an upcoming set of tunnels. Almost every corner in this stretch of track is a ninety-degree turn, making tight powerslides a must. If you enter a tunnel alongside your opponent, spare to effort in taking him down.Ībout three fourths through the track, you'll enter a downtown area with cables running above you. The early portions of the track are light on traffic (after the first stretch), which gives you free roam of the course for sliding and getting aggressive with your rival. The course is relatively easy, with few hard turns. Go for speed over weight to tackle the Mountain Parkway face-off challenge.
This straight-forward race shouldn't be a problem if you pick the right vehicle.
